Astral Harvest – Alberta

In collaboration with Deliria for the canopy design and Golem for the stage design and projection, Lumatronic had the opportunity to light up the main stage at Astral Harvest Festival. Each piece of Deliria’s stretched fabric was treated as if a pixel in a giant low resolution screen. Using sixty colour changing lights attached around the structure, each light’s address and location was used to map the canopy’s features and geometry – effectively lighting the entire area at night. Additional equipment included three high-powered lasers, a thirteen foot LED screen, LED strips and hundreds of large pixel LEDs which we turned into a thirty foot alien spaceship video screen! In 2016 we installed 530 LEDs and 1km of cable into Crystal6 in a day and a half – the fastest our team has ever done this.

Team: Floating Island Entertainment, Andrew Graham-Hussey, Alexander Alexeev, Deliria, Golem, PK Sound and Calabra.
